We are here to help parents. Bee’s Babies Essentials was founded in 2022 by retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel Betty Dudley, to put essential baby supplies into the hands of single parents who are carrying more than anyone should.

Our story
It began with an empty shelf.
In February 2022, our country was already grappling with the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic when another crisis struck — a shortage of baby formula in the U.S. Caused by a recall, it affected parents across the country, particularly single parents who were already struggling with the challenges of work, childcare, homeschooling, and protecting their families from COVID.
To help these single parents, a retired Air Force veteran — Betty Dudley, Lt Colonel — put herself in their shoes and decided to take action. She founded Bee's Babies Essentials, Inc. in August 2022 to support single parents facing a variety of challenges, including caring for disabled children, dealing with sickness, homelessness and abuse, and struggling to achieve financial independence.
Through Bee's Babies Essentials, Inc., Betty aims to provide these parents with the tools, resources and support they need to overcome these challenges and create a healthy, nurturing environment for their children — helping families build a brighter future for themselves and their children.

Founder & President
Betty Dudley, Lt. Colonel (Ret.)
A service-disabled veteran, Betty served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. She was commander of the Mission Support Squadron at Pope AFB, overseeing services for 12,000+ personnel, and at the Pentagon she managed personnel program evaluations contributing to $8.3 billion in Air Force budgeting. She is the author of Called to Serve, Empowered by Faith, Humbled by Grace, and is married to retired Chief Master Sergeant George Dudley.

George Dudley, Chief Master Sergeant (Ret.)
A retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) with 28½ years of service, George served as Chief of Executive Services at the Pentagon, advising General Officers and overseeing key operations. After military retirement he worked as the Spectrum Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy, supporting 14 National Laboratories. A graduate of the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy, he is a recipient of the prestigious Legion of Merit Medal.

BBE is called to SERVE. It is our obligation and responsibility to give back and to care for the least of these, our precious human resources, our babies.
Community drive
Warm Hearts, Cozy Coats — 2026
Every winter, families in our community face the cold without a coat that fits. Warm Hearts, Cozy Coats gathers new and gently used coats for children and babies, then hands them out at a community distribution day.
